Erin Dumitru is a potter based in Walthamstow, East London. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she brings the colours and textures of that landscape into her glaze palette and surfaces.
Her practice centres on gas-fired functional pottery with a particular focus on teapots and their companion pieces. She is drawn to the complexity of making teapots that invite daily use and feel like unique little guys.
